Champagne Video’s 30 seat Private Cinema is available to hire for private screenings

135 minute screening sessions are $100. You can book multiple sessions back to back if you are planning on the cinema being the centre of your party for the evening or wish for a longer screening time than 135 minutes.
Some sessions are eligible to add an additional 30 minutes or 60 minutes (See below). Please remember that in order to book a screening you must bring a minimum of 10 guests Wed/Thur/Sun & 15 guests minimum on Fri/Sat.

Once a booking is made, we do not offer refunds if you no longer wish to hire the cinema. However if it is more than 7 days from your booking, you will be able to reschedule to another date. So please don’t press ‘cancel booking’, just ‘reschedule booking’. You can reschedule as many times as you like.
You will be able to enter the cinema at the start of your booking time. Please allow 5 minutes to test your content and allow time for everyone to get settled in. At the end of your session, staff will let you know when the time is up. We have a 15 minute turnaround between sessions, so we would appreciate your guests exiting the cinema at the end of your session time so our staff have time to clean and prepare the cinema. You can continue the good times at our bar!
The cinema can also be hired for karaoke parties, comedy events, gaming, bands and talks.
We encourage your guests to arrive early & settle in with a drink from the bar.

Wednesdays: 6-8.15pm/ 8.30-10.45pm (+30)
Thursdays: 6-8.15pm/ 8.30pm-10.45pm (+30)
Fridays: 6-8.15pm/ 8.30-10.45pm (+30/+60)
Saturdays: 3.30-5.45pm/ 6-8.15pm/ 8.30-10.45pm (+30/+60)
Sundays: 3.30-5.45pm/ 6-8.15pm/ 8.30-10.45pm (+30)
(+30) = an additional 30 minutes can be added onto this session.
(+60) = an additional 60 minutes can be added onto this session.
Full Venue Hire
Available on any day/night. Includes cinema hire and private use of the whole venue including bar staff for up to 5 hours. A minimum spend on bar/ food is required.
Mondays/ Tuesdays $900 minimum bar spend
Wednesday/Thursday/Sunday $1000 minimum bar spend
Friday/Saturday $1800 minimum bar spend

HOW MANY SEATS ARE THERE IN THE CINEMA?
There are 30 seats available in the cinema. If guests are happy to stand, there is a maximum capacity for 40 guests (eg. for a band). For cinema screenings we recommend a maximum of 30 guests.
IS THE CINEMA WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Unfortunately there is a small flight of stairs leading into the cinema, however we can accomodate wheelchairs via the back entrance. Please let us know in advance so we can organise this and make sure it’s a pleasant experience for guests using wheelchairs or guests with mobility issues. Please email champagnevideobar@gmail.com
WHAT CAN I PLAY AT THE CINEMA?
We are unable to source any content for you. You are renting a private screening space. It is up to you to bring your content on a USB stick, DVD or stream content from the cinema’s laptop. It’s your responsibility to gain any licenses required to screen your content. We are unable to monitor what you play in the cinema, so you are responsible for gaining the correct licenses from the relevant distributor.
The cinema laptop uses VLC media player to play content. Please check that your file is compatible with VLC.
DO YOU HAVE INTERNET CONNECTION IN THE CINEMA?
There is internet connection in the cinema, so you can stream content if required.
MY SCREENING CONTENT IS LONGER THAN 135 MINUTES SO I NEED TO BOOK EXTRA TIME. WHAT CAN I DO?
You have 2 options: 1. Book 2 screenings back-to-back 2. Add an extra 30 minutes or 60 minutes to eligible screening times when booking. These are generally the last screening session of the evening.
I WANT TO BOOK THE CINEMA FOR KARAOKE - HOW DO I MAKE THAT HAPPEN?
When making the booking, you will be asked for what purpose you would like to use the cinema. Please check ‘Karaoke’. We supply 2 microphones, ‘KARAFUN’ karaoke software displayed on the cinema screen which uses a QR code for guests to add songs to the queue via their personal phones.
I WANT TO BOOK THE CINEMA FOR MY BAND. WHAT GEAR DO YOU HAVE AVAILABLE?
We have a mixing desk, PA & microphone.
I WANT TO BOOK THE CINEMA FOR GAMING - HOW DO I MAKE THAT HAPPEN?
When making the booking, you will be asked for what purpose you would like to use the cinema. Please check ‘Gaming’. We do not have any consoles available to use in the cinema, so you will need to bring your own console - we will connect it to projector and speakers via the HDMI input on your gaming console.
WHAT PROJECTOR/ SPEAKERS ARE IN THE CINEMA?
We use an EPSON TW9400 4K PRO-UHD projector which can play 4k content. We use 5.1 surround JBL speakers.
CAN WE BRING OUR OWN FOOD & DRINKS?
We have a strict no outside food & drinks policy. You can pre-order pizza with a minimum 48 hours notice. Please see menu below - please email orders to champagnevideobar@gmail.com - we will send you an invoice to be paid before the screening. Pizza cannot be eaten in the cinema - it will be served to you at a table in the bar area or video room before your screening. You can purchase popcorn and choc tops in advance or in person at the bar which can be eaten in the cinema.

All pizza can be made vegan or vegetarian. We currently have no gluten-free pizza options. Our pizzas are 12 inch with 8 slices.

Food will be served 20 minutes before your screening session unless stated otherwise. We cannot serve food after 9pm. Only popcorn/ choc tops can be eaten in the cinema so make sure you are requesting your food to arrive before you head into the cinema.
